So, Halfix and the east coast of Canada were breathtakingly beautiful. I would definitely go back to Halifax, but only by plane; fly in and fly out, ideally to another part of Canada or the U.S. From Halifax we drove to Bangor, Maine, home to Stephen King! We were just passing through, a pitstop on our way to Massachusetts, so we didn't really see anything apart from what was near our freeway-side hotel.
On our way we stopped by the Maine Diner, featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which was okay and S had the Lobster Pie (from the show). It wasn't the best restaurant featured on DDD we've been to, that's for sure, but it was worth the stop.
